It's on the lid in the recent official render, so yes, it's on. wink.gif

nice work, whats with the field of view blurring on the front on render?

i'm not a blender user, but 45 mins for a render with simple raytrace reflections, simple soft shadows and no AO seems steap.

The case has blurred reflections and there is some subtle AO. My computer also isn't the greatest tongue.gif
As for the depth of field, I probably did go a little overboard on that. Maybe I'll create another render of that view at some point, as well.

Why should he need permission? It's his own rendering and has nothing to do with the original 3D files from official Pandora renderers. huh.gif

True, but it is their case design as well as their logo, and I'm unsure about how they'd feel about the potential of a non-official and incorrect model being distributed. In any case, any redistribution of renders/models created with this will probably be required to state that it is strictly unofficial.

I think so. I don't remember. If so the thread it was in is buried.

if possible, would you be able to send me the model file
im wanting to do a few promotional videos, ad until the cad files are released this seems the best

thanks
if you dont want it public, you can send it by pm or email thanks

just saw the note under the pic, which i didnt notice the first time round, anyway if its possible...., i cant see them getting upset over it being released its an open source project and i dont think that kind of reaction is that common

Am I the only one on these forums who hates the blocky icon view? I thought I escaped that when I turned it off in Windows Explorer.

Great! It took some minutes to render on my laptop (C2D 2.2GHz, etc). Nice work.
