Exactly. Had the Axis won WWII, Japan would most likely have taken control over Australia and much of the rest of the southern hemisphere.
People often seem eager to decry Germany for their role in WWII, but forget there were actually 3 countries on that side of the war initially. Almost everyone glosses over Italy entirely.

What if you had the ribbon part of the rainbow come straight out of the box logo, then it would end up straightening out horizontally to underline the word "Pandora"?

These graphics are really nice, but I do agree, I could live without the hearts.

I like the rainbow, but I'm not in love with the brown theme, it's all a bit too Zune-like for me.

It's funny, as part of the whole original logo design thread a while back, I did some box design and game packaging too. It all matched my original logo though, not the new one but I'm currently pulling it all together for my website so I'll let you know when there's something to look at...

Admittedly, a good thing about the rainbow design is the homage to the Apple/Sinclair etc retro designs (posted earlier). And the lack of pink or baby blue.

I've now totally ripped off this image, in Fireworks no less, and am using it as my desktop background. I think mine's better, too Somewhat tentative to post it up, as it's a flagrant near-copy but I'll no doubt fold and do a 800*480 version with Pandora branding.

The lone blue heart now looks a little misplaced. Also, the outline shapes don't mix well with the solid ones IMO. Maybe also reduce the total number of shapes a little. Still, an interesting thing to experiment with.

I agree with everything you just said; I know I should have sat on the design for a little longer. I'll see if I can't get a fish in there.
