Nice to hear indeed! Gotta be an overwhelming feeling to create something which works as intended.
Firmware and other software issues can be solved anytime. What I couldn''''t make out until now, is the mould already in production, is the case finalized?
I read the forums and the blogs everyday but I seem to have missed that.
The mould is not in production and the case is waiting on one new part before it can be deemed finalized.

This is awesome. I didn''t have any qualms about the touchscreen being on the top, and I didn''t believe it would have been too much trouble to hold my Pandora in such a way to support the screen from the back. But hearing that I wouldn''t even need to do that anyway is really nice. Not to mention, every little bit of information just makes me realize more and more how great this handheld will be, and how happy I will be when I get it.

I have an old Jornada 720, clamshell w/keyboard and a touchscreen. I never considered it to be an awkward touch interface, and it puzzles me that it''s a concern that it would be.

(however, I suspect the Pandora''s keyboard won''t be anywhere near as nice as the 720''s)

The OP is what I''m getting because I was never able to afford a Jornada. And well, lets be clear, the OP is pretty awesome anyways.
