Im starting to doubt it will..i considered ordering one for a split second aaages ago.So glad i didnt!

Dont mean to sound negative, i think it would be amazing if it did ever become a reality.

Is there a confirmed date yet? or is it all still up in the air?

Given the history and perpetual disappointments, were I a betting man, I'd say there's a fair chance it will never see the light of day (and perhaps even less likely is a second batch) - but then again, if your expectations are low, you can only be pleasantly surprised :-)

I'll certainly buy one and sing its virtues if it ever gets born, but I'm certainly not counting on it.

We've got an unofficial roadmap happening, check the blog (in my sig). The current estimate (which is my estimate, not the official team's) is that we'll see the first real, actual, complete Pandoras in the middle of next month. Craig made an informal comment the other day that suggested the same thing. Long story short, it's looking good. :)

i understand why these threads arrise sometimes. For about half a year now, it constantly sounds like "its almost going to be shipped, in one or 2 months". But then again it will be moved, moved and moved.

I am also going to get timesick. I've had alot of patience, but its coming to an end. I thought 100 untis are going to be tested....but some mould thing is first, that also takes 30 days.

I trust the pandora team, but still im getting tired of all the shit thats coming with the pre-order.

When its over i think i can look back and say, "wow, what an adventure it has been", but i know that i'l never want to have desame adventure again. I wont pre-order again without a certain release date.

Its good that it looks like it will finally arrive - i just feel sorry for all the faithful who have pre-ordered this thing and have had to put up with all the disapointment.
Hope all the peeps who pre-ordered and kept the faith will get rewarded somehow..exclusive freebies or the like?? ;)

Im still happy with my F200 but im sure IF/WHEN the pandora arrives my head may be turned! :D

No, for freezing $330 EACH in OpenPandora Ltd's bank accounts for up to 9 months to enable the Pandora devs to complete the device in the first place. Imagine the interest they'd have had to pay if they had taken a bank loan instead of taking preorders...

I was one of the first pre-order purchasers, and I have been almost going crazy with waiting for the thing, but every day that we get closer I feel a lot better. In the meantime though, I've sure been able to hack on some other interesting things .. Android, iPhone, SmartQ7, Wiz, a Zii will arrive next month, Touchbook too, Beagleboard ..

Well, lets just say that I'm going to be *very* prepared for the Pandora by the time it arrives. ;)

I'm still extremely excited about the project. I preordered like everyone else.

I hate the delays like the rest of you it does suck, but I smile when I think about how good the software will be from the get go, the GUI is looking great.

I think it's safe to say that the emulators will be there in full force from pretty much day 1. The controls are what I look forward to most . Davec know he's shit when it comes to controls, the controls will kick ass :)

I mainly looking forward to seeing what Notaz's, Fanaxtics, Exophase,Pickle's,Squidge,Zodttd and many others will produce for this handheld. It’s clear we have some insanely smart people in this community.

I know I sound like a hype machine, but I hate some of the negativeness here and I can fully understand where people are coming from.

Hang in the guys good times ahead are coming. I can’t wait :)

I got this feeling October is going to be a very interesting month for us all :)
