my current phone (at&t fuze/touch pro) runs it even better.

You consider that great? To each their own, I guess. The OP may not be that satisfied with that level of performance..
that was using my old phone and the 2nd rev of the emu.... it's much better on my current phone with the last revision.
i don't have a vid of that version, but it's much smoother than the videos i linked. i'll record some in a few minutes (cell phone to cell phone, no real camera access right now)
here they are
not the greatest quality vid, but it shows what a 528Mhz windows mobile can do, so i'd expect the wiz should be able to at least match it (hoping at least)

Just did some quick googling on the specs for observation purposes...

Your first phone uses pretty much the same SoC as your second; MSM7200 vs a MSM7201a. There's been a die-shrink and a slight CPU speed boost of 400 MHz to 528 MHz. Both of those are ARM11, compared to the ARM926 in the Wiz. Those phones outclass the Wiz in every other way though (not that it matters; they're probably just using the CPU). Does the emulator kill Windows Mobile before starting? It's not fullspeed, but interesting..

no, it doesn't kill windows mobile, and yes, it's not full speed, but playable. and yes, the 128MHZ (and extra ram i believe) and the difference, but i still can take a call, send and recieve e-mail, and whatever else i need to. for the wiz, well, all it needs is to play the games, nothing more, so it "shouldn't" be an issue. but enough on the phone aspect.... still wishing for a wiz port!
