Merry Christmas to you too. Love the video! I never played a C64 before. I am only 25 and it was before my time. My friend who is 39 said it was amazing. Evil Dragon your video confirms this! I can't wait to play it. I will have to buy a C64 to add to my collection!

Yeah, Gribbly's Day out was a brilliant game although 'Gribbly's SPECIAL Day Out' was even better (but probably harder to find).
From memory, for Special Day Out Andrew Braybrook optomized the original which created smoother gameplay. I think he also fixed some bugs in the scrolling routines etc.
Actually - I'd say that GSDO would probably still be in my all time top 10 C64 games. For those unfamiliar with it, you should give it a try.
I love gravity physics games and this would have to be one of the best for me.

It was playing really nicely, and pretty close to completion, then the artist dropped out. :(

This is not related to the C64, but it still might be of interest to you guys .. there is an Impossible Mission re-make being done for the Oric-1/Atmos computers:

Read through the thread to see the progress ..this one is shaping up quite well and I look forward to booting up my Atmos to play it one day soon.
(There's also an Elite clone being done for the Oric-1/Atmos at the moment, in case anyone is interested in the fact that this console is *still* getting software written for it .. heh heh.)

What kinda graphics do you need? I don't feel I could do stuff like characters, etc. But I don't want to see this die, it's looking really nice!
