I AMMMMMM A KIIIIIIDDDDDDD. At 18 i don't consider being an adult. Sick of people thinking they know more just because they're older. Get enough of that BS at work, don't want to put up with it on this forum, thanks. Anyway, anyone who's paid money can say what they want, we are customers. When you've paid money there is nothing wrong with nagging every now and again.

lol, i dun think u could be more age-stereotypical.That's funny.

and these aren't official forums or anything. they just happen to be ones that the team goes on, so you're really just complaining to a bunch of guys on the internet fed up with threads like this.

Yeah well this forum is the best we have to voice our opinion, and when you've been waiting for 2 years we have every right to say what we think :) And it's about time people spoke out more without other's criticism.

Generally speaking, adults do know a hell of a lot more than kids, they have the advantage of many years worth of experience and knowledge. Also generally speaking, kids always believe that they know more than adults, it's called the arrogance of youth, which changes once you grow older and gain experience and hindsight.

Regardless of age, if you want to be considered someone's equal then you have to be respectful.

This kind of nagging has been done to death, and those of us that have been here long enough (ie:those with experience)are sicker of waiting than anyone, but we know that everything is being done that can be done. The team are working hard to get these things out, and no amount of bitching is going to make it happen any faster. We've been clearly told what's happening with the factory, I don't see what else there is to complain about.

His right. This company is getting away with to much excuses. I doubt they actually work on the Pandora cases as much as they say they do. I bet the first cases were a last minute job which is evident due to the many faults found. They should really start a project when they recieve it and finish it, rather than doing it whenever they feel like it because we're not worth the effort. I know this is only a few people but you shouldn't really be happy with these delays because it doesn't necessarily mean that they are making it perfect. Sure, they're taking their time but are they doing anything with it? The more delayed the Pandora gets shouldn't make anyone excited either because in time, it becomes less impressive. I know people like to stay positive but we need to be realistic about this. When the Chinese say its going to be done by Chinese new years, they actually mean that they haven't started yet, they need to buy some more time and its probaly going to be done after that unless they give us another date. I really doubt communication is the issue like debated before, becaue I believe any decent human being could understand that this should have been done along time ago. Its not like the Japanese word for 200 days is our word for 40 days. IMO this a case of disrespect, laziness, procrastination and lies.

+1

It's taboo to criticize though. You will only get the answer "You can always cancel your order". So there is no way you ever win against an argument like that.

Like I said: I don't feel treated respecfully. I feel ignored.

On Sunday you can say "He isn't working, it's Sunday!" but when Tuesday has arrived there should be some additional information.

And this is no official forum? Which is if not this? At least the official page is officially linking to this...

The official page is the news source you need all the rest is just bonus. (look at other compagnies and what information they give)

Its ok to critize though the OP team is the first to aknowledge they dont like the way it is going, but its to late to change it. They could cancel their order and start over again but that would cost more money and more delays.

Yet another generalization.. Okay, so here's something for you to ponder upon. When you were a kid, did you want to be like your parents? Most adults think they know everything, but they don't. If adults were smart they wouldn't vote for idiots (if anyone), they wouldn't allow media to brainwash their kids (and themselves), they wouldn't be so ignorant of all the worlds problems. And they are exactly that, ignorant. Because if they were not, they'd be doing something to better the world, like helping those in need. But no. And ignorance comes side by side with bliss? No, stupidity.

Haha I recently talked to an old friend and reminisced the times when we had the answer to everything and everything was simple and older people were ignorant fools :D And now we realize how wrong we were. But its part of groing up. Through experience you learn that changes come in small steps not in huge revolutionary steps.

I think the problem mostly is that we've all read the same criticisms, in one form or another, so many times that it's depressing, and distinctly irritating, to read the same thing again. And again. And again... it's like scratching at a wound - painful when you do it, worse when someone is doing it for you. If we all let rip in the direction of our suppliers (giving OpenPandora the freedom to shout at China for all they are worth) the collective vibration caused by all our voices pointed towards Craig would likely scour everything North of the Watford Gap free of mud. Mid and North England, and Scotland, would be laid waste as if it'd been struck by atomic bombs. And a Chinaman would have earache for an hour.

It seems to me that being annoyed at OpenPandora isn't just justified - you'd have to be half barmy not to be annoyed with them (unless you've just ordered in which case, no worries, you should expect delivery in about Two Months). But what does venting on the forum DO? On the one hand it might just raise the temperature of the forums, increasing the ire of the local inhabitants. Like sitting in a traffic jam on the M25 and deciding to play "Road to Hell" by Chris Rea at full blast with your windows down to protest at the delay. If you read "Good Omens" (you should) then you'll appreciate that such an action would probably just increase the chances of us ALL going to hell, as we all get increasingly irked.

Alternatively, maybe a critical post will attract Craig's attention. In which case one is likely to get the offer of ones money back and a first class ticket to being abused by someone who evidently enjoys it. That's not really that valuable a result either, come to think of it.

The point is, raising the level of irritation here winds everybody up, but what does it really achieve? OpenPandora don't have control over what's happening, so even if you could make Craig FEEL guilty (good luck there!) he couldn't do a darned thing about it. It's not like they will suddenly move manufacturing out of cheap-as-chips-China - it's clear that the too-good-to-be-true pricing is why the cases are being made there. Well, why they've been ordered from there anyway. The people who have control - the people who can actually DO some work or not do some work towards getting the cases done don't read these forums. They're too busy making cases for companies that have someone watching over the workforce to make sure their product comes out on time, to a high enough standard.

When you are young, your field of vision is narrow and answers to problems are simple. When you grow up, your field of vision becomes broader and you realize that the answeres in fact aren't that simple. It's simple :D

@Monk
I'm repeatedly impressed by your skills explaining stuff :)

I have to admit, this exchange is the most amusing thing I've seen all day. It's brought a smile to my face each time he behaves JUST like the stereotype he seems to feel he's better than. It's SUCH a textbook example that I can't help but grin, despite the fact that there's no-one here to see my mirth.

IMHO one of the first things you learn that marks your maturity towards adulthood is that you don't know everything. As for voting idiots into political power, there isn't much choice there - only adults are allowed to run, after all! I don't know where he comes from, but round here adults do try to help those that need it. I'll be off myself soon, to put in my regular half day of volunteer (unpaid) work for the needy. I wonder what shunun does to help those in need? Would you enlighten us, shunun?

(btw I am dutch and I think we probably have one of the most left-wing political systems did it solve all the problems, no!, however we are allowed to get high and forget some of our problems ;) )

That's funny, between 16 and 20 I considered myself being a communist. Things have changed a bit.

Now see wut the kids did thar. The thread is now full of crap. Start polite next time and it will be less prone to failure.
Point taken :P
