While I haven't heard back from Fatih or Craig about this, I THINK this might've happened.
I'd say: Let them enjoy their well-deserved holidays (they don't get much in China anyways) and let them do the cases without any rush when they come back in a bit more than a week.
I thought it was 2 full weeks, not 10 days... but I'm not complaining! I suppose a happy worker (say one who just had a big vacation) might put in a better effort than a stressed out and anxious worker.

The boss of the company told us last week they're trying to do it, however, the worker were already pretty much in holiday mood.
He warned us that they won't work as good as they can in that state which might lead them to rush the case (and therefore not setting everything up too carefully).
Before spitting out broken cases, he'd rather have them NOT produce them. We told they should really try to do it, but before getting broken cases, he should wait until the holiday is over (which is the case on February 22nd).

That's cool, it's probably better for them to just do them all at once, and do a good job of it. It would have been nice to hear something hours ago, instead of people guessing, and hoping for something that wasn't going to happen.
So 2 more months isn't out of the question uh? Thanks for the update ED, you are the only voice to calm the savage beast!

True, in Hong Kong locals will be offered sometimes as low as 10 or 12 days annual holiday....

I had a feeling that this would happen but I guess it's best to have the better quality and care in the making of them. So is mid to late March a likely date for when we should start receiving our Pandoras.

This just means that all the Pandoras will probably ship in a steady flow from then, rather than a small batch first.

uh?...thats shocking?....I gotta have a word with my boss
I understand the following: There are 2 weeks in the year they get a 5 day holiday, BUT when they return, they're expected to work the following weekend to make up for the holiday, so really they only get 6 days off for those two weeks. Chinese New Year is supposed to last 9 days, but the reality is that days on either side of that are basically do-nothing days, so really it becomes more like 16 days. Taking out the weekend that they wouldn't have worked anyway, that's basically 20 days of no work throughout the year. This is the same amount that I (and surely a large number of others) get, except that only half of mine are government given, the other 10 days are my choice.

Although the first 500 will be slightly gutted about this, I am glad there will be a steady flow rather than a gap. It will mean we will all relatively get our Pandoras within a closer time frame and we can all start enjoying this thing together.. its been a long wait and watching 500 people playing with there Pandoras knowing mine and 3500 are still not being assembled would be difficult to watch..
Fair game Craig I'm so glad this is almost there.. As I know you are too. Thanks for the update
