Frameskip is on by default. Turn it off (in graphics options I think)

??? Isn't frame render rate the same thing as frame skip (in my post I mentioned that it was set to 1)? On my previous 2 Pandoras Mario 64 was pretty smooth with frame render rate = 1.

Yeah Mario should be smooth on 1 but sometimes the developers can break things and cause FS to go crazy.

Uh...by developers you mean EvilDragon with the HotFix (I have this issue with an older version of Mupen64Plus that ran Mario 64 smoothly on my previous Pandora; the SD card is the same, only difference I can think of is a new Pandora with the latest Hot Fix)?

EDIT: Just tried MiniMenu and it works smoothly as before. So I tried running background killer with XFCE and it seems to be running smoothly again.

Has anybody figured out how to get the savestates working? the only input plugin that works at all for me in the latest pnd is the ppsp input 2, which doesn't save states. the other plugins don't register any input at all.

Here is the updated Mupen, OOT now seems to run nicely.
Thanks Gruso for a quick test and hosting the binary.

http://pandorapress.net/gruso/mupen.pnd [gruso edit - sorry, gave you a bad link. Try: http://bunnitude.com/gruso/mupen.pnd ]

There are two gles2n64 drivers for selection, OOT runs with both:

0.0.4 is the updated 0.0.4 but also using a new CRC implementation.
I changed it to a different technique as described here:

http://guru.multimedia.cx/fast-crc/

gives a small speedup when lots of textures are used. This is also the
default driver when mupen load. I see that the code changes are updated
into r23 if it works out.

0.0.5 is the updated 0.0.4 straight with old CRC. Number just choosen
so its something different and you have the chance to fallback, just in case...

Let me know if its work for you...

- Frank

Update: Download link does not work yet, I ping'd Gruso already, should be up soon.

Why not hosting it on dl.openhandhelds.org?

I don't care who hosts it frankly... ;)

Send me a PM if you want to put it somewhere on the net.

I just mentioned the filearchive, as you can upload and maintain it yourself there. Just sign up and you're good to go.

Dang the link is no good yet.
I see that this is only a matter of waiting a little longer, so I shall wait for this.

I'm excited for this. Ocarina was one of the few titles I was really excited to play when I got the Pandora.

Thank you. :)
