While I have a further look at MilkyTracker as to why it's dying on the Instrument Editor, here's Schism Tracker to keep you occupied :)
http://www.stuckiegamez.co.uk/apps/pandora/schismtracker.pnd < 3MB PND

It was actually a bit of an arse to port as they seem to assume you're going to have OpenGL support regardless, and ALL graphic operations are in the one file - video.c - interleaved amongst one another. *shudders*
Also, it's only resolution is 640x400.. so fullscreen looks a bit cack.
Seems to work fine though, and I tested the instruments screen as well ;)
XM support is a bit dodgy, but then, this is an Impulse Tracker clone, not a Fast Tracker clone!

This'll probably be one of the first PNDs I properly release, just need to make sure that there's nothing I missed!

Maybe this could help to check:

That's what I used to do the PXML this time :)

Was more meaning any awful bugs like MilkyTracker's Instrument Editor freeze.

Loaded up a mod file, am playing it.

I can't really test much else out for you, as I'm not that knowledgable about tracker programs (I always wanted to learn though).

Awesome! Works perfectly and smooth. Thanks, this piece of software is great. I prefer Milky like you but this software is better for .IT files. I love Fasttracker style and the keyboard layout of the Pandora works better with ProTracker/Soundtracker/Fasttracker style :) .

Cool IT song for testing NNA feature of Impulse Tracker (virtual channels):

Shortcut keys for people without scream tracker keyboard mapping knowledge:
Load: F9
Play: F5
Stop: F8

Greets!

Yes, I did... but then I am a bit mad ;)
In fact, all the stuff I've done so far has been built directly on the Pandora, as it's easier for me to test and fix. Then I just have to reboot and try again to see if it works in a clean environment or see what libraries I'm missing.

It is a mad way of doing it, but it works :)

[edit]
I see someone's stuck it up on the Pandora Apps archive for me, thanks!
I don't currently have upload access there ( clicked the request in last week, if I mind right ) but I'm uploading it to ED's archive now :) ( well, it's done, just as I clicked Save Changes! - http://dl.openhandhelds.org/cgi-bin/pandora.cgi?0,0,0,0,6,89 )

For reference, the original author is Storlek, and it's website is here: http://schismtracker.org

I've updated Schism Tracker to the latest from their Mercurial ( which merged in my changes :) yay for open-source development! )
This version seems to have better support for other module formats than IT as well.

Anyway, whoever uploaded the one to the Pandora Apps site, could you update it with this new one: http://www.stuckiegamez.co.uk/apps/pandora/schismtracker.pnd or could Craig or whomever has power give me rights to do it myself, please?

I've updated the one on Ed's archive ( well, it's pending just now. )

I will activate your account in an hour or so and move the rights to that upload to your account.
