That's great news Craig. I really do hope board production can catch up, so more Panoras can begin to ship in bigger and better numbers. Everyone who preordered almost 2 years ago deserve to have their machines ASAP!

I also hope that batch 2 starts when expected, so that supply can meet demand at some point in this year. This could really be a big Christmas item if the buzz and opinions stay positive. It really is such a wonderful device. Please, keep chugging along!

Also we're told to expect 500(!) boards in the next batch, so, wow, that will be a lot of work. Not sure we can manage 500 in a week but we shall see.

Do the boards of this batch already have the new nubs or still the old (but tested) ones? Or is it mixed in this batch?

It may sound silly, but a quick twit or post each day just giving a one line status update would stop all of these threads from starting, even if the report was 'nothing today' atleast we knew.

We had this discussion once before. Long story short, it would be days and days of "nothing new to report" with the occasional "something new to report", and jam and jelly are not the same thing.

I don't think they will have new ones on there, as the test samples for the new ones will be finished this week and need to be tested and produced after that.
Production surely won't happen in one day...

So these will have tested ones, that's my guess :)

Any ideas where we are in the queue for Craig's line? My spot in the 700s still seems a bit off.

I dont now meybe i miss understand it: what dos mean "in the next Batch"? Because: The 4000 Pandora are the First Batch,
Or are they in the Sub Batch and the next Boards they come, are 500???

Thats Confuse me abit..

500 + 200 = 700

700 / 4 = 175 to EvilDragon :)

We've not reached my spot at 400 yet (well, I'm allegedly 400-500, so go figure).

The first batch of Pandoras have already shipped. All those that managed to get their preorder in quick enough already have their pandoras. The rest of us that managed to get in on batch 2 are still waiting.

I tough its the First Batch of the First Batch, meybe whe schould call it Batch 1.1, all from these 4000 (or less) Pandora Units dos have a "First Batch" Sticker on it, so i think Craig dos mean the next Batch of Boards from this First Batch™ of Pandoras.. (hope the next batch behind this next batch are 500 to, so i get my unit)

Don't forget some of those 700 are RMA units, etc.
More closely, it's something between 650 - 700 shipped.

Also, some guys did order more than one unit, so with one order number, some have 5 Pandoras...

Forgot about multiple orders
what is depressing me is seeing all these RMA units(im assuming this means returns)
probably best for them simply to tell you whats wrong, and wait a while till production gets a bit faster (if ever)
that way they too will have all the fixes done, i think a few people have sent several units back (probably wouldnt have happened if they waited for the fixes to be sorted out)

Btw i totally understand people wanting to get their units fixed as fast as possibly, just a bit annoying when you hear so many of them in one go (not that theres lots of RMA)

Except, how were some of us to even know, for example, that the nub company had made errors in the manufacture of the nubs, exactly? ;) Do you think I, for example, expected to have to send two units back? There's *no way* that one could have been avoided.

It's all well and good saying the above with the benefit of hindsight, but at the time the existence of the tolerance issue from this example wasn't even known. :P

EDIT: And even in that case, a month of waiting went by with the second return for the fully-tested nubs, as well. :P
