So,I am making some wifi testing with external antennas.

I made a small hole in the back of the case just where the antenna connector.

My question is: is there a way to add an aux antenna like many other wifi cards have?

as far as I know, there's no aux antenna connection, but the antenna connection is the same standard configuration. You could disassemble the bottom, disconnect the existing antenna plug, and mount your own. If you're enterprising, you could probably hook up a switch or something yourself.

If you look for J14 there's the connector for an antenna. Whether or that connector is already occupied by the antenna in the lid I do not know. It was my understanding that the antenna lead was on the LCD cable along with the audio, but I am probably mistaken.

thats the regular wifi connector (what in other wifi cards is named as main), and its occupied already

there is a shielded black cable for the antenna, so the antenna is not going through the lcd cables
