Try redownloading

are you in minimenu?

I download this file again but nothing has changed. I tried to run it directly from minimenu and from xfce4 ... both the same: nothing :(

Sorry to cross-post ....

Hi,

Here is my finding :
Launcher plugins start xbmc.executehttpapi("Action(199)") before starting an app and XBMC freeze there.
This call a code through the web-server that goes within XBMC.
My last built was without it (--disable-webserver), so I added the dependencies for it and built with the webserver (PND updated).
The bad thing is the the web server hang. Even a simple "telnet localhost 9090" get you nowhere.

I tried to hack the plugins instead (remove the dependencies to the webserver). In the end of day, I'm able to start an app by quitting XBMC.
No way to minimize the XBMC window :(

So I edited ./xbmc/WinSystemEGL.cpp which contain :

Spoiler

Both function get called, but XBMC is still fullscreen not minimized.

Any EGL guru could help me here ?

How do I install skins manually?

shouldn't there be a skins folder in the .xbmc folder?

I've tried putting skins in the addons folder but they don't show up.

Also I've sucessfully downloaded extra skins and they show up in the addons folder...

I can do that fine it's just they don't show up there (the ones I manually install)

I can't get it to start. It asks me if I want to overclock, I choose an option and then nothing.

I have the latest hotfix. Not sure what i'm doing wrong here.

So I take it i'm missing a library?

This should come with the codec pack ;)

Thanks, that worked. :)

I forgot my password to run the codecpack so I had to reflash XD

Now I got XBMC up and running and it's missing menu button graphics as someone pointed out in an earlier post. Going to just about anything seems to crash xbmc.

It's truly amazing to see this running on pandora though.

Go to settings and the skin and from there you can set the menu to be horizontal.

What exactly crashes xbmc? I haven't really had any crashing issues...

To answer this, the /tmp/pndrun*xbmc*log and .../pandora/appdata/xbmc/.xbmc/temp/xbmc.log files would help a lot.

Well it seems to crash when pushing x and a to activate menu items (yes I know that's mapped to page up and down, force of habit hehe)

edit-can't post a log, at work atm
