i have reconverted the audio files. The originals are 44100/128k. These ones are 22050/64k.
So you can try with these and see if you get higher speed.

EDIT: and here is how i have it in the caanoo, which is working for me.

Just unzip it in the root of the SD card, and launch the executable via the file explorer.

P.S: if i'm not allowed to post that files, mods feel free to edit my post as convenient.

At the moment it doesnt work, sadly - and the devs have said it wasnt made for handhelds in mind (despite some people getting it working on PSP, albeit slowly. They've dodged my question to them on how to get it working). I managed to get as far as the game looping the intro and start screen, but no controls respond:

I downloaded a fresh OpenBOR Build: http://down.emucr.com/v1/1UROFNW2

Unpack the GP2X version of OpenBOR (the Wiz version wont work) and put that on to your SD card. It will run, but wont start playing regardless of the keys you press :(

was that by running via Ginge ? Ive not tried any gp2x stuff yet on wiz but surprised that version got that far, perhaps the control input is the different so that's why no control works

I'd guess the wiz must have some differences to the gp2x but had heard of ginge to run some older games/emulators

I got an old version of bor working but like you said other than bor original I cannot run much on it, wish I had the time to get the wiz sdk / toolset and play around :-)

anyway sor is awesome, i don't know how but had it resume to a savestate yesterday wish I knew how I got that to work!

Also died on mr big damn this is easier 2 player!

It only manages to give me a language selection screen which won't accept any input. When I delete Bennu (the Caanoo version) and download a fresh copy, the game works again for a single play, but gives me the language selection screen AGAIN.

Is there anything I can do about this? It isn't my SD card, the SOR file, the GPE or system files, as re-downloading those gives me the same results.

If I ever get the game working to the point where I can play the game as many times as I want without having to go to the library to set it up again, could you save and quit mid-game? How would I do that?

Strange, I'm assuming you opened the game on the pc first to do the initial config and save screen and language etc - I've never seen the language setting screen on handheld.

Save and quit mid game appears a bit hit an miss on the wiz, on xbox if I turn it off it always loads save state at start of the last level reached.

PC saves state when you quit.

I wonder if the wiz doesnt as the only way to cleanly exit is to quit so maybe it doesn't flush / sync the save file to the SD card, but I don't get the problem you described I'm afraid.

Sorry for the delay, didnt get a notification until now!

Yeah, this was running through Ginge at the time. No idea if there's a work-around, but I'm not technically gifted enough to find a solution!

Did anyone find out what was causing the glitch where certain sprites such as the truck that throws the barrels disappears? Had this problem when playing on Caanoo, not sure if it also occurs on Wiz.

I have done the initial setup on a PC by switching the background music to none and the video to normal.
I believe SOR reverts the settings back to the original PC ones when I quit the game on my Caanoo, which is why it gives me a language selection screen when I try to reload the game.

I have downloaded the sorr game from the megaupload link above, put it on my SD card, started in on my pc- bgm set to none. Now when trying it on my wiz the game freezes on the "this game is freeware" screen. What am i doing wrong?
