So, after a big pause, I have news again.
I still work in puzzletube, but the last months I changed the 3D engine "a bit" (complete rewrite).
But now I am able to show, what I got:

The new version runs at the moment in the flat mode at 200 Mhz on the gp2x and at 285Mhz even textured playable.
The same for the pandora. The textured version can be a bit stagnant at 600 Mhz, but with overclocking every should be smoothie. :D
If I reimplemented the (new, better) highscore and a new background you will be able to play the new version :)

Could be, that the Dingoo version doesn't work correctly (or even doesn't start). In this case, just tell me in this thread, I will find a solution. :)

I had to release a new version. First of all there was a memory leak bug. But now I have a README explaining the game mechanics, too ;-)

And a new version again for all GP2X owners: I initialized the sound wrong. So there were latencies. Fixed it :)

Aaaand an update again. I implemented a help screen. It is not perfect (in fact it is a bit "hacky"), but I have no time for more and some people don't know, what to do in this game. So if you survive this Wall of Text, you know, how to play!

Unfortunately, there is a lot of flickering on the dingoo version, do you think you can do an OpenDingux version with double buffering enable?

Nice work Ziz, very nice game! It's even better with the new changes.

Completely off topic but you never added Snowman to the archive, could you upload that one? I don't think many people know about that game.

@Coccijoe: I fixed it yesterday. The archive version seems to need some time to get the changes >.< Here is a new version without flicking: http://ziz.delphigl.com/data/puzzletube-dingoo.zip Double Buffering didn't help btw...

@Orion4874: As you maybe noticed, I rewrote my "background engine" and gave it a great™ name. So after puzzletube (and maybe a project for the Pandora Rebirth Contest) I will update snowman, too. Then I will upload it to the archive. :)

Today I have two videos for you. The first one is made by smida3 in the Dingoo Community. It works now pretty well on the Dingoo A320 ;-)







The second video is about some new feature in my software rendering library sparrow3D. I am now able to load obj files. And it is pretty fast. The last example on my gp2x got 23 fps with "bad affine" with 1250 Quads.







Most of my work @libsparrow3d is for my next project, which will be an entry for the rebirth contest. But as long as I did not decide to participate and the create an own thread, I will post changes here. ^^

Interesting, I though the dingoo had no gles. Am I missing something ?

The GP2X has no, too.

That is the point of my library: It is a Software Renderer :D
It works on every system with SDL ;-)

Congrats! Software render rules, hardware render should be illegal! :P
I´m serious though.

Can that lib run on caanoo?
