I wrote this, because for some odd reason, the Caanoo doesn't unmount properly in OS X. When you eject it, it just reappears. This script properly unmounts the Caanoo so it can be safely removed, but also cleans out the ._ files that get left behind from OS X's Finder.

Requires 10.5 or higher. Written on 10.7 though, so those with 10.5 and 10.6, let me know how it works.

Also, and very important, make sure you name the SD card "CAANOO". It's not checking the disk itself, it's only going by volume labels.

OS X Lion will have this built into it, the fix, on the upcoming updates.

I personally didn't, it should still work, I'm rather surprised it got pulled.

Just remember though, if you have Lion, 10.7.1 should have this built in (minus the ._ remover part).
