Many games run too slow and there are issues with the sound/music on the actual gpsp emulator, maybe a native port like the pandora version would work better ?
Or maybe another GBA emulator ?

After all, the games that were actually made for handhelds should have some priority
over all the arcade and stationary console stuff. o.O
...and it's cheaper to get some of these to play them legally...

Is it hard to port that version to the Caanoo?

The version for the wiz is much better then the one for the Caanoo.

Looked sources at openhandhelds for wiz and caanoo. It seems they are much the same. Some differences in handling input ( caanoo uses /dev/input/event1, and wiz - /dev/GPIO ), not sure this could affect performance. Maybe caanoo version is slower due to worse ram timings.
