1. Copy and paste video URL into the textfield Here.
2. Right-click and save. Change extension from .htm to .flv
I tend to do this using WinRar, as it diplays the extensions.
3. Open in Riva Riva FLV Encoder 2
4. Change the Output file name to whatever.avi, set to 320x240 if you're not re-encoding, and save.
5. Re-encode if necessary, as discussed Here
The website also allows you to download Google videos etc. However, in the past for Google videos I've just downloaded for PSP (right-hand menu) as it saves as a .mp4
