It has been up for about a week now . But I just got mine and tested it and it works great with the GP2X . It is really fast too .

And I have not seen many other 2gb cards this cheap .

Yeah that's the one I got, I think I paid 108 or so, it was a few months ago.

2 gig isn't enough though, I've bought a few 1 gig and 512 meg cards since then.

peanutman
does this one work with the GP2X?
also the firmware updates?

Reinout,

Yeah, plus 20 quid shipping!

Do you think one of these will work on the GP2X?
Or is 2GB the maximum it can handle.

I don't think it supports 4GB YET. I'm sure it will be added later.

Ebay is evil, it may look like you are getting a good deal but you end up paying 5x as much on shipping as from a standard internet store.

I got a Ridata 2GB Pro for $99. No problems so far, all the way up to 1.2.1
peanutman
Maybe stupid question, don't know, but here goes:

What if I format such a card as a 2GB?

I would only like to buy 1 card... as I will get my GP2X pretty soon I would like it to work AND last a while. Buying a 2GB now, AND a 4GB later is to costly for me.

you can use your bank account with paypal, that's what I do.
peanutman
:| since when can I do that?
What type of account do you have...

this is what mine says:
QUOTE
Add Funds is Not Available
PayPal does not currently offer the ability to add funds from your bank account. You may, however, use other funding sources to make a PayPal payment, including credit cards and your PayPal account balance.

did you register a bank account?

are you a verified address yet?

Read the help on paypal or email the tech support if you can't find it on FAQ (pretty good)

peanutman
