can i use this memory for a while? will it damage my gp2x? i have seen a lot of boards saying its best not to use it, why?

The internal memory is where the GP2X stores Linux, so it's advisable not to use it. You could end up destroying your GP2X. Besides, you wouldn't want to use it, as there's only about 32MB usable, and you can't write to it over USB.

If you fill it, your unit will no longer boot. Also as far as i know it has a rather limited lifespan, so reading and writing to it constantly is a bad idea.
