I had a nosey at the images that come with the new firmware and it seems that GPH have replaced the "midum" on the battery indicator with "medium".

I think we should campaign to get midum put back in the default skin - this always made me giggle and now it's plain boring.

you can always open the mp3 player and laugh about "stero".

I always liked 'Please Waiting', myself. But Midum and Stero are good too. =o

Ah I missed all those :/ I upgraded to 1.4 the day I got my gp2x lol

Didn't we save the old default skin? Can't we just re-install that? That's the way it should be.

I still have the default skin --- after I installed 1.4.0 I was getting graphical glitches using the Jessica Alba skin, so I put the old one back on...and got very confused, cos I still have 'midum' and everyone claimed it had gone

You need to reflash 1.4.0 to get the new skin. Then midum will be gone.

I was using the DOA skin when flashing, I changed then back using Skin2X and 'Please waiting' was back .

The firmware writes a file, the Skin2X writes over it (seeing as the DOA has a custom Please Waiting I think)
