Does anybody know if this is still being worked on? I mean, at the moment it crashes all the time and the file selection freezes...etc.

DrSMS is almost done, I just need to add Game Gear support. I'm busy working on *another* project at the moment, so it will have to wait for a few weeks.

oooh! what a teaser! biggrin.gif I wonder what it could be.... huh.gif

I can't wait for DrSMS, either.... some of my favorites growing up are on the SMS/GG and the current emulator is very buggy right now...

have you had any luck getting the TV Out working on DrMD?

should the beta testers be expecting something soon? biggrin.gif

Thanx Reesy, as always, you're great! smile.gif

The other project might be something for the DS. I heard it mentioned a while ago.

The problem with TV out must be something to do with DrMD rendering in 8bit mode, if anyone knows what registers need to be prodded in order to get it working feel free to enlighten me and I'll fix it.

@DaveC: Nope its for the GP2X, I'll send you a copy, PM me your email address.

Interesting, maybe the author can let us in on the secret.
Aninhumer
I think he's already told some people how to do it.

Hi
a user of gp32spain forums warned me about this thread. I am the author of TV-Out Fixer, and really there is no secret wink.gif.

The source code for TV-Out Fixer is public with the latest release, available here:
http://www.gp32spain.com/foros/downloads.php?do=file&id=479)
As well as my comments of the methods used here (including two modified functions for minimal lib 0.B preview):
http://www.gp32x.com/board/index.php?showtopic=26051&hl=
And here (in Spanish):
http://www.gp32spain.com/foros/showthread.php?t=28378

I also tried to complete the wiki information about TV-Out here:
http://wiki.gp2x.org/wiki/TV-out_support
And also here (also in Spanish):
http://wiki.gp32spain.com/index.php/FAQ_de...la_salida_de_TV

Anyway, if the information available is not clear (i am not a very good english writer), you can ask me and i will try to help you the best that i can.

Regards
kounch

@kounch: Thanks for the information, sorry I didn't realise it was so freely available. I shall apply these fixes to DrMD a.s.a.p.

Add 6 button support while you're at it =p [/sarcasm]

Hey Reesy, where have you been? We are all wondering what you are doing right now....
Tobriand
I don't suppose, whilst you're at it, you could incorporate the LCD tweaker code into DrMD (and hopefully DrSMS) too could you? Mostly for ease of overclock/underclock once again, of course, but well, GPH's LCD tweaker isn't exactly stunning lol!

... and preview savestates

... and a microwave oven

... and and and...

sliced bread!
