seriously thinking about getting one of these, as it looks like a very capable little machine, and support for it is starting to snowball !!

but i need some hard opinions ... in short i need someone to sell it to me !!

how good does it run mame? is there frameskip on it? is it smooth? how buggy is it? what are your own experiences with it ?

many thanx

We're all biased fanboys, our opinions are worthless biggrin.gif

Find a friendly retailer and just buy one. If you don't like it, send it back for a refund, that's my suggestion.

Anyway, MAME runs great as long as you don't expect it to run newer titles.

which arcade PCB'S do you own that you wish to play?
IntenseWage
I'm sure some people in here will give you good reasons, but try searching the forums and checking the tons of other topics where others have asked to be convinced.

Well I can tell you this much, If you look a couple of posts back, I was asking the same question you were. I finally gave in and bought it and was very insecure whether I made the right choice. Once I did recieve it though I was so happy. I think that you will not regret buying it. My only suggestion is to make sure you get an sd card reader as it is the most reliable way of transfering stuff. I got mine for 10 bucks. Oh yea and I love playing metal slug on it. It runs perfectly on the neogeo emulator.

Oh yea about the bugs, it definitely has some here and there, not as bad as some of the earlier bugs. The only problem I've experienced is video freezing up, and thats only if I put it in saver mode. Other then that its actually been a pretty smooth ride so far ::crossing my fingers:: but just remember it is constantly being improved so downloading the latest firmware is pretty simple.

Ive just sold my 1.5 psp to get one, 2 - 4 gig sd with loads of games is going to be great and I like the idea of an open platform.
