Lots of people love playing TailTale. I tried it on fw 1.4, and the music was flying by far too fast.
I discovered, if you edit file sounddat.lst and put a # before M001 bgm001.wav, M002 bgm002.wav, M003 bgm004.wav (or you can delete these entries if you wish) you can play the game without music, but with full sound effects. It would be nicer to play the game with music, of course, but at least this makes the game more pleasant. There hasn't been an update for this game for ages, thought this interim solution might be of interest.
One thing with TailTale - how do you exit back to the Gp2x menu? I haven't found a way of doing it without resetting the GP2x itself.

wasn't there another solution to this sound problem?

aapje89, if you know of one I would be pleased to hear of it; having music in the game would be far better than having to lose it. I searched, but couldn't find any other solution. Please advise if you know of one.

There is, but it involves recompiling from source.

nickspoon, anyone done it and made it available for download?
Also, how do you exit from the game back to the GP2x menu? (or do you reboot, as I have to)?

Is the source available? (link?)
If so, it should be a very easy process. If you PM me a link I will try it out myself.
