I am going to get a 2gb SD card for my GP2X and I am wondering what is the fastest speed that the GP2X can handle? Will it make much of a difference btw 32x and 150x? For divx maybe? Is 150x overkill? I can't find anything in the manual that speaks about the top speed the GP2X can handle.

Any info is appreciated.

well, the gp2x hardware can handle full 25mhz/4bit 100mbit mode, so it supports the gihest defined sd speed.
I dont knoww ichspeed the current driver supports through, i think it was only mmc mode (1bit) 25mbit.

anyway, as price dosnt realy make any difference anymore and 120* cards often sell as the same price or just slightly higher than slow speed cards i would say go for some 60 or 133* card, this way you are "future proof" and pay nearly the lowest price.

hope this makes sense, im totaly tierd, night :-)

A good value are the Transcend and ADATA 4GB 150x cards they typically come in 100-140 depending on the sale days. I was unfortunete to purchase mine for 150 because i was just anxious to get one.
