In the looks department the MK2 feels much smoother , the logo has slightly changed spacing and the sticker on the back is in korean. As my pal bought his Gp2x from www.gp2x.co.uk he got two sticks and I got the new gph one for helping him out . Both the sticks are much better the the stock. The image is lots darker on the MK2 then the MK1. I have not tryed out what the change to the Joystick has done. So yeah, not lots changed but I still like my MK1 !

Good to hear, does the new GPH stick look like those pictures floating around? My MKII shipped from GP32z Monday, I can't wait.

The cap with "GP2X" written over it looks... cheap. They should have put the fancy X they use as part of the logo instead. The new GPH one looks quite good.

The one with the logo was commisioned by Craigix from gp2x.co.uk/Gbax.com the UK distributor.

This new one is from GPH, the Korean Maker of the GP2X.

So which one is better? Craigix or GPH? Or is there a difference?

Heres a picture of the old joystick cap and new joystick cap side by side. I'll take a picture of Craigs joystick when I get them.

The MK2 one doesn't look very grippy. I'm glad I ordered the one with "GP2X" on it. It was cheap enough at least.

Any chance of seeing these for sale any time soon on gp32z.com? Just the cap I mean.

This makes me sooooo glad I ordered the DaveC cap while he was still selling them!

I think I'll be ordering a few extra caps and just modding them differently...

"Is GPH's cap (or Craigix's) made of the same Nylatron GS™ material as DaveC's cap?"

I think not; metal-impregnated industrial nylon != plastic.

One thing for sure is that the Gph stick aint that grippy...
