I just suggested to GPH that they add this option in a future Firmware update.

Wouldn't enabling tv-out when it's not needed unecessarily drain the battery? I'm pretty sure that was included in the current pull test that (squidge I think) carried out

This could be very useful for such features as a permenant GP2x such as a mame box based on the gp2x, etc...

yeah the gp2x is ideal i making a tabletop gaming thing with acrcade controls

hopefully by the time i get to that point some genius would have figured how to map keyboard to emulators

why would you enable it unless your using it on the TV?
