Try the super nintendo version. Worked good for me using squidge snes. But this topic shouldn`t be in the cool ideas section. It belongs into the general gp2x talk or the i need help section. This section is for port requests and program ideas.

Given the state of the respective emulators, I'd suggest the Megadrive version Cannon Fodder over the SNES version.

Which one is best..? Depends on your point of view. I prefer the Atari version as that's the one I played at the time - tried Outcast? Guess there's also an Amiga version as well that is probably better sound/graphicwise...

Overclock central?
Works fine on 200mhz, (although this IS with a lot if the menu settings tweaked, i assume frameskip would be the major factor).
But still, works fine for me.

slightly off topic, but there is a new version on the way out for psp
The Amiga version of Cannon Fodder was awesome! I'd say the SNES version is good enough for portable porposes, but if you don't want to overclock, then use the MegaDrive version.
