This morning, I wanted to see all the new and wonderful downloads for my GP2X. So, as usual, I went to http://www.gp2x.de/cgi-bin/cfiles.cgi

Nothing! Time Out Error! Nothing there!

Actually all of gp2x.de is down. I don't know what color of Alert that would be, but it is my conjecture that it is 'greater' or 'larger' than Alarm Red. Further bulletins as events warrant.

The gp2x.de server needs a complete reinstallation.

Yeah it went down last night. gp32x.com couldn't connect to the mySQL server. And a bit later, offline message were put in place.

N64 EMULATION IS IMPOSSIBLE

According to Red Dwarf, the colour (yes, colour, as we English spell it ) could be purple; (their red light bulb blew and they only had a purple one left) Loved that TV show!

This is the one I remember:

Glad somebody else commented about the site being down, I noticed it was unavailable last night but nobody else mentioned it so thought it must just be me.

Just some quick update:
Reinstalled the server completely from scratch with OpenSuSE 10.1.
It's already running, though I need to reupload the files.

At the moment, it's secured from the outside, as the attack still goes on (damn!)
I'm going to tell my hosting company about that attack, hopefully, all should go well again by tomorrow evening...

I think it lastet at least a few days, because EvilDragon has a Real Life ™, too. Of course he makes backups, but the stuff must be uploaded. So calm down, the archive will be online soon...

Damn i wondered why the server was off line, sorry to hear about the probs Evil Dragon, the emulation 64 server washacked last week and Martin had to reinstall, theres some real wankers out there.

I have a lot of releases on my gp2x site but no where near as many as the archive.

are there any security probs i should pass info over to our Dreamcast File Archive ?

i dont understand why someone would take down the gp2x archive sever it seems to be a pointless exercise it just makes work for people.

My marching band is trying to get the whole show on by the end of the week. That why the extra rehearsal today is taking place in the parking lot, so we can chalk our new spots and learn them before Friday, when homecoming is.
