I'm looking for gamepads for playing games in 2 players modes throught BOB.
It's this gamepad from LED shoppe good for playing? http://ledshoppe.com/Product/com/CA1009.htm
Could GP2X recognized it? Cause on page it says "For use with PC Windows 98/ME/2000/XP"... linux is not mentioned.
What's the quality.. has anybody any experience with this cheap gamepad??

All usb gamepads/joysticks should work, but the game/emulator you are using will need to support usb controllers.

are those sticks analog? i'd go for as simple of one as you can manage. good thing about that one is it's only $10, and if it doesn't work you have a nice gamepad for your PC, which is worth having.

I got a simillar one with turbo/slow buttons too for less than $7 from a computer accessories shop nearby, but I never got the chance to test it yet with my BOB.

You could do what I did and buy a ps2 to usb hub, if you own a ps2 controller. I just like that controller a lot. Also I believe they sell ps2, xbox, and game cube to usb components now all together.

I have two of these and I love it:

Works with N64 AND PS2 controllers (but only 1 at a time). I dont have a BOB or a breakout USB hub, so I cant test it. Maybe sometime soon.

If you're into Street Fighter games, the N64 controller is perfect because its got 6 buttons on the front. Hopefully the CPS2 emulator will support gamepads soon!

seems to be sold out anyways

Since Led Shoppe was brought up, I thought I'd mention I bought one of these ( http://ledshoppe.com/Product/com/CA4024.htm ) for my USB controller needs. Rather than use a poor PS2 controller copy on my PC, now I just use whatever genuine PS2 controllers I want - and two of them to boot.

The kids love a good bit of 2-player SNESing as often as they can manage.
