Porting of AROS to run on ARM Linux hosted for atleast the AROS core section. ARM support has been surfacing on #aros channel now and then, so there seems to be of some interest do to ARM being just about everywhere in the embedded field.
Suggested developement enviroment is scratchbox.

IIRC it does not have any kind of binary emulation. Even if it is ported to gp2x, Amiga games won't magically work. In fact they won't work at all.

Pfff, you should write a new Forth OpSys. Now the complaints on speed ...
It is just as fast for the linking !! It looks like ARM has the
CPU mkt locked in !!
It may not be exactly
as fast , but that was not what is needed ! NewForth Completely manages all objects .
HDD will get a new file system that can reconstruct data easier
Areas will be structured so you can guess what it was .

I will mostly using AROS apps not its games
