Anyone else notice teeth marks on the bottom edge of their GP2X caused by the zip on the case?

Unfortunately yes, on my old MK1

ha! 'tis lucky I use a different case!
(runs fingers along the bottom edge of the gp2x)

...damn, teeth marks.. I will use the little velvet bag which came with the '2X from now on.

How come the teeth marks can be on the bottom?
At least on mine, the GP2X is inserted other way, the top towards the zip, which is NOT like pictured here, the battery case is on the other side:

No damage and teeth marks on my GP2X.. you musta done something wrong like putting it in wrong way... maybe?

same here and its been in the same case for over a year and used daily

So there's 2 types of cases then?
One with the battery cutout at the spine of the case, and then the one I have with the cutout at the bottom (in the PlayAsia pic above)...

Where can I get one of the non-scratching 'upside down' cases? I've reverted to a bubble wrap bag which is pretty uncool.

Luckily I noticed the teeth marks before they got too bad. They're only visible in the right light, and only if you're looking for them.

I have the same case Miika has, I got mine at Play-Asia about seven months ago.

I got mine from play-asia, although the picture of their shows the other case.
I don't see why you should buy a new one, you could just be careful when putting it inside, or pull the zip when closing to prevent it from touching the unit. On my case it doesn't touch the top part anyway.

DS cases fit it perfectly and look pretty good doing it .

I am on my second DS case and my 3rd GP2X, the first came with the pre-order case and I think the EXT rubber faced the zipper on that.

(I don't kill the GP2X's btw, I re-sell them )
