can anyone give me a rough idea of what are the maximum supported dimensions for image in gp2x (official) file viewer? i am thinking of using gp2x unit to store and view maps during hike.

thank you.

diky mylan,

i have just tested with 6007x6057 jpeg file (disksize: 9.28 MB). it loads 18 sec and it takes 12 sec to zoom to 100 % but then the scrolling is really smooth. the only concern now is the limited number of shown colors - it does matter when looking at maps. i'll try to think of a solution.

cheers,

joe
