not bad. i think i recognise the mod but i managed a score 876. seems to be a speed bonus on some of the diagonals as opposed to direct horizontal movement..

yeah pretty good stuff. would like to have volume control.

was noticing the movement speed of the ship seemed kind of irregular. fun game though.

some tips:

you can use gmenu to set the volume before you play.

start and select exits the game

The diag speed up is on purpose. so you can avoid things if needed. I made this game foe mouse control so I had to remake the ship control system a bit for the digital stick.... The MOD is from a very old 80's Amiga demo I had copied from the original floppy disk lol. works wonders to improve the games feel of speeding up. the higher the score you get the more shilds are dropped to help you get higher. I'll try to get time to put in a volume control system.
