Is there a list of USB Joysticks/Gamepads that work with the GP2X ?

Or does it depend on the Game/Emu if the joystick is compatible ?

Thanks !
Hooka
I've only tried two, one was the GP32 and it didn't work (using firefly's GP32 Gamepad thing smile.gif ), the other was a genius gamepad and it works fine

I love it! Very responsive, nice tactile feedback, very sturdy plastic, perfect layout .. and dirt cheap, can be had for $10 USD or less biggrin.gif

The USB XBOX360 one does not work....(hardly a surprise)

Seconded! I've got one here on my desk, I previously kept it packed away with my company-supplied laptop for on-the-go emulation purposes. Moohahaha. Handles everything perfectly, ten buttons and a d-pad in a sensible layout.

I tried the GP32 a long time ago and it worked fine with a test build of Quake, but I tried it again last week with CACK and it didn't work at all. Console messages seem to suggest it's been detected though. I didn't try it again with Quake (because that build has long since gone) but the code of the two apps should be pretty much the same. Only real difference is I was using fw2.0 before and 2.1.1 now.

Anybody tried any Arcade style joysticks ?

I see the X-Arcade has a USB version, I'm wondering if that works ?

I'm looking for one that could be used with an arcade cabinet type setup....

Does it have to be a certain type of Joystick or does Linux (i.e. GP2X) autodetect it ?

Sorry for all the questions !

I just bought a simple plug & play gamepad, but my GP2X doens't detect it.. (I've tried Picodrive and the latest GPFCE)
Is there any way to change this?
