I just ordered a new gp2x mk2 last night and was wondering if the gp2x works with those new 4gig SDHC cards. I dont care if the gp2x doesnt use the new speed rate of the cards just want to know if at least downclocks to whatever the gp2x can do?

i take it you've ordered a value pack, if so the problem with using the patch (link in previous post) is that you'll have to downgrade your firmware use it which is not recommended as it can cause alot of irreversible problems as explained here:

I went from 3.0 -> 2.0 once, no problems.
none, nada. Works fine (albit some of the included games no longer ran... probably just built against newer libs)

The Cradle, being mostly worthless DOES have ONE redeeming feature; a integrated JTAG to parallel converter.

Bricked your GP2X?, with the right software and the Cradle you can unbrick as you like.

Still I think the whole post above may just be F.U.D. blink.gif

No, it is F.A.C.T. Others can confirm the problem if you don't believe it. Ask EvilDragon or DJWillis - they've both encountered it many, many times.
