You should read the "readme" files, it says everything usually smile.gif In the case of CPS2, I just found out about this emulator today (it's my first time buying a GP2X also), and it explains clearly how to generate cache files.

SAMBA, as MacosX is UNIX based, you should be able to build the romcnv program easily. Just browse to the romcnv directory in a console, type "make", then run the program (./romcnv game.zip) where game.zip is your zipped game. The path can be relative to the current directory. Then copy the generated cache file as indicated by the output of the program. Good luck !
