GPengine is a full speed PCengine emulator for the GamePark's GP32 handheld.

Brought to you by black- ( Thomas Geisler ).
Graphics and gui by giffel ( M. Geisler ).

Either: Put the file GPEngine.fxe into the directory GP:/gpmm on your GP32.
Or: Install the file GPEngine.fpk with PClink.

GPengine searches first in GP:/gpmm/gpengine for roms.
You can put roms anywhere you like and navigate to them using the inbuilt file selector.

Files with the ending *.pce or *.zip are shown in the file selector.
If you use *.zip files the first PCEngine rom found in the archive will be used.

In game keys :

The file selector

Use the file selector to start a new game or load/save an actual game.

Keys Description up/down previous/next game left/right select an action L/R previous/next screen A start selected game or execute an action B continue playing Start enter setup menu Action Description del is deleting the selected rom or zip archive, so be careful ! save save actual game state load load saved game

Symbols used in the file selector :

	this rom is packed as a zip archive
	for this rom a saved game state exists
	this is the last rom played, you can save the game state if you wish

The setup menu

Keys Description up/down previous/next menu entry left/right change option A enter credit screen Start leave menu

Menu entries :

Brightness	Change the overall brightness of the emulator.
Frameskip	Select how much frames are drawn per second. Affects emulation speed.
Speed	Select the clock speed of the GP32-CPU. Affects emulation speed. But be careful ! Speed selection over 133mhz is pure overclocking and not recommended ! It might even destroy your GP32 and won't work stable on most machines !
Sound	Disable the sound output or disable only noise channel emulation.
ROM Type	The TG16 uses another rom format than the japanese PCEngine so you have to preselect the rom type. Most roms are autodetected by an internal database. If a rom nethertheless refuse to start you can try to preselect the japanese or USA rom format here before starting the game.

Press A to leave the credit screen.
